Project sponsorship

 

An effective project sponsor is one of the key factors for successful projects.
We have developed a support package for sponsors which help them to:

• Build a business case for the project
• Understand the differences between their role and that of the project manager
• Set up and manage regular and effective review meetings
• Know what questions to ask and draw out critical information from the project
• Influence the organisation and champion the project
  

We offer support to individual sponsors via coaching or to groups of sponsors via workshops.

 

Sponsors workshops

This one day workshop aims to equip the senior management team with the knowledge and skills to act as project sponsors or mentors. It covers all aspects of managing a project portfolio including gatekeeping, project start-up, coaching project managers, steering projects, monitoring and reviewing.
